This was my first choice. Being my favourite clothing brand I decided to visit the website to analyse good web design. They have a good layout on their homepage with high quality photographs as links to pages. There is also a clean menu with a good choice of font that relates to their logo type which is a drop down selection. It doesn't take long to load and the images slide through at a good pace. It is visual as well as there being a search engine of their site and all the page is white with the colours blending in all over.
This is the bottom with the logos as links to the social networking sites as well as the links for customer service and their company information again barred off by a thin faint line blending in well. As well as their copyright information at the bottom. Also below the image that is on a timer there is boxes you can click to see the other images by clicking on them rather than waiting for it to load.
This is another page with a beautiful layout. This is their 'look book' which is almost like a book with the different styles and outfits on various slides down the side. The other side is the links an prices where you can add the products from that outfit you have clicked on visible allowing it being easy to find them. Again there is the same menu and link options at the top and bottom of every page.
This is the page of their jeans which are all in sections. You have a visual of all the jeans with colour options below but also the styles of jeans available with the bullet points under it explaining the style of them eg - Casey :Straight fit, Low rise, Turned up at ankles.
This is their shoe page and has a great layout with the shoes/boots from the best angles (eg side showing the side and the heel height etc). This is a beautiful design and allows you to view all colour options of one design on the same page.
This is their site plan showing the pages there are 57 links over the whole website.
This is Reiss website home page again like Allsaints it has imagery as links as ell as dropboxes when you click on the links. There is a clean menu with complimenting colours throughout the page. There is also a slideshow of imagery for advertising their best products.
This is an image of the dropbox that comes up when you hover over the link on the image for more choices. Sophisticated appearance to relate to the brand.
Again same as the one above for the men's products.
This is the view of the menu when you hover over them, this again represents the brand etc as well as having imagery links and type links.
This is their site map showing all links in the website, there are 135 links throughout
This is the Burberry website homepage and has a great layout again with imagery as links with a nice layout and blended in style throughout. There is a nice menu down the side as well as all in the same colour scheme.
When you click on the links on the menu it drops down to more links available. This is a great layout withe beautiful photography
This is a page of their Children's clothing as well as a cute photo at the top in black and white standing out. (this is on every clothing section page) There are also a nice layout the clothing with all the same background behind allowing them to blend in.
This is the same page showing the nice blended in overlay when you hover over with the details and prices.
There is a nice dropdown box at the links on the menu.
