Paper cutting experimnentation

We attended a workshop to create a papercut version of our chosen narrative. Mine was princess and the pea which was quite detailed and hard to complete, especially the princess.

This task was based on work of artists such as Sarah Bodman and Tracey Bush who make it look easier than it is, below is an example of their work.

Below is the process of my first session - this was okay but because of the height of the princess she ended ul flopping over due to the paper being thin. To make this better I could create it in a thicker paged book or create something to hold her up by cutting it in a different way

Below is the process of the mattress scene
This didn't work as well as the princess didn't look like a princess at all.
